The company, specialising in software quality and testing, encourages its employees and sympathisers to donate blood. In return, the volunteers will receive a sangria package.

"With Brightest Pur Sang, we want to do our bit to help with the shortages in the blood supply in Belgian hospitals," says managing partner Pieter Chiau.

Until 31 August, blood donors can exchange their Red Cross donation certificate for a Brightest Pur Sang package. "People are free to choose the donor centre," says marketing manager Eva Van Camp. "Our offer applies to our 106 employees and all our followers on LinkedIn and Facebook."

On 20 July, a team of the Brightest headquarters in Kontich will lead by example at the Red Cross centre in Edegem. "Anyone who wants to participate is welcome," emphasises Eva Van Camp.

The Sangria gift box contains an award-winning bottle of red wine and dried fruit. The Les Bertholets comes from the Vicente Gandia winery, and the ingredients are from Pineut, a Dutch company with an eye for social impact.
