“Issuedoc lets you collect problems, complaints and ideas efficiently,” says Berdien De Roo, who developed and manages the technology for Geosparc. “Instead of sending random emails that we have run out of printing paper or sticking post-its on defective devices, we collect the reports in a structured way via the tool. The office managers receive the messages and follow them up.”

The Gumption office in Heusden, whose tenants include Geosparc and Mercuron, has already trialled the system. Berdien De Roo: “In the space of a week, three reports were received, including one about an information screen that was not working properly. We are now following this up. The tool is very useful for quickly solving these kinds of small, annoying issues.”

Geosparc has had the technology in its portfolio for several years. Berdien De Roo: “Governments have been using Issuedoc for some time as a reporting platform where citizens can report a pot-hole in the road, for example, or an illegal dumping site. Insurers also use it by having employees document cases via Issuedoc. On construction sites or large industrial sites, workers use our technology to spot cases. We are now applying the same principle in the office.”

Meanwhile, the QR codes can also be found in the Kontich, Wavre and Antwerp offices. Some devices, such as printers or water dispensers, have QR codes. “With the code, people can inform us easily and in no time that an empty dispenser needs filling,” says Berdien De Roo.

“Scanning a code takes you to Issuedoc, where you can immediately submit your notification and even supplement it with a photo if useful. As the location is pre-filled, the office manager can immediately see which office, which conference room or which device needs attention.”

Employees can also make a report via https://gumption.issuedoc.be.
