Are you an IT student in the middle of your study period for the retakes? Brightest opens the doors of their Ghent office to students looking for an ideal study spot. Or how about a rooftop office, where you will also get breakfast and lunch?
From 1 to 5 August, Brightest will welcome six IT students to its Ghent office d'Office near the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station and Flanders Expo. ‘We would like to give students the opportunity to get to know us in an informal way,’ says Eva Van Camp, marketing manager at Brightest. ‘This is how the idea emerged to open up our Ghent office to students taking resits. We offer them a quiet location in luxurious, modern surroundings where they can study together with 5 other students in peace and quiet. Including a football table to let off steam!’
Brightest is an IT consultancy firm specialising in software testing and quality. ‘That’s why we are targeting IT students,’ says Eva. ‘Our regional managers, Thomas and Stef, will also be present and can assist the students if they have any questions.’
Brightest also has offices in Antwerp and Limburg, but deliberately chose to open its office in Ghent to students. ‘For some reason, there is less enthusiasm about consultancy among Ghent students,’ Eva says. ‘Through this initiative, they can become acquainted with the world of consultancy and our company in a low-threshold manner. If there is a match, they also get a chance to do an internship.’
