Plugnotes is a plug-and-play no-code software-as-a-service solution. It allows companies to digitise operational processes without programming work or expensive investments.

Bart Embrechts, managing partner of Gumption explains the investment: ‘With this commitment, Gumption confirms its ambition to strengthen activities in Brussels and Wallonia. As a complementary company, Plugnotes fits in well with the 360° cocreation strategy of our group.’

Founder Vincent de Bruyn of Plugnotes saw the gap in the market while active as an entrepreneur in distribution and logistics. He developed the prototype of the solution and set up the company in 2020. Daughter Camille de Bruyn joined him as a co-founder.

No-code tool

‘The portfolio of Plugnotes is growing steadily,’ says Camille de Bruyn. ‘In one year, the number of clients has doubled and monthly earnings have increased tenfold. We want to use Gumption’s investment to gain a greater foothold in the Belgian market. Our ambition is to grow the number of clients tenfold by the end of 2024.’

The cloud platform removes the need for manual work or data input and analysis via spreadsheets. As a no-code tool, Plugnotes helps companies with no IT department or limited IT capabilities digitise by creating forms that are automatically converted into handy databases and reports. Plugnotes simplifies the collection and analysis of digital information through these forms, which can be easily integrated with other systems such as ERP, CRM or WMS systems.

Camille de Bruyn: ‘With Plugnotes, it is really easy, for instance, for a company to record whether a delivery was made and whether it was complete. Let’s say that an item was missing or damaged in a delivery of goods to a depot, the recipient can simply inform head office and the supplier via Plugnotes, and even provide photos without any hassle.’
