"Microlearning's success is due to its user experience," says Guy Van Neck. "And so we involved UX specialists in the development from the start. Behavioral scientists, gamification experts, software testers. Co-creation, with the aim of providing your employees with an optimal total experience."

You build personalized learning paths with MobieTrain. Memory techniques that improve the long-term retention of knowledge make training more effective. The platform is mobile-first: training at the place, time and device of your choice. This means you can deploy newcomers more quickly. With an extensive set of instruments, management can closely monitor the progress of the trainees.

Gamification
"Our first customer was Azadea, a large retail company in the Middle East," says Guy Van Neck, founder and creator of MobieTrain. "The bar was set high right away. In the presentation of our beta version in 2017, we involved Newbird—now Oddball, a fellow Gumption company."

"As a design agency, they had specialists in behavioural science and gamification in their ranks. They use gaming concepts to stimulate and motivate users. This was unknown territory for us. The co-creation approach worked. We worked closely with Oddball in the development. Today, Azadea has more than 10,000 users in 14 countries."

User experience on the test bench
"MobieTrain has seen strong growth in recent years," says Guy. "The pandemic accelerated our diversification to other sectors such as governments and logistics. At the end of 2020, our recurring revenue was four times higher than in January. More customers and target markets also mean more integrations with the customers' systems and more product development."

"Every new customer has high expectations in terms of user experience. That is why a specialist from Brightest - also a member of the Gumption group - has been involved in every development sprint since 2019. They test the software for functionality and usability, paying great attention to front-end testing."

"We're also aiming to use test automation to reduce lead time and costs for quality control. Thus, almost imperceptibly, Brightest has become an indispensable part of our approach. Co-creation became a way of life."
