Sophos handed over the first Cloud Security Provider certification in Belgium to Rank1. The program recognizes Sophos’ qualified partners who advise organizations on Sophos’ security solutions within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, among others.
Sophos’ Cloud Security Provider Program (CSP) offers partners the opportunity to develop, implement and manage Sophos security solutions for the public cloud.
“We are delighted with this CSP certification by Sophos,” said Raf De Backer, Director Professional Services at Rank1. “Many Belgian companies are currently considering a possible switch to the cloud. SMEs, in particular, are struggling with the question of whether they keep certain services partially on-premises or transfer everything entirely to the cloud. Many of these SMEs are looking for a reliable, flexible IT partner who can assist them with advice and the implementation of such a process. Rank1 carries out this process in a structured way for SMEs. Depending on the customer’s needs, we advise on, among other things, a partial or complete transition to the cloud”.
The CSP programme is an addition to Sophos’ existing partner programme. It enables Sophos partners to specialise in the field of public cloud security. The CSP programme can provide a competitive advantage.
Sophos’ Public Cloud portfolio for the AWS and/or Azure environment includes Sophos’ next-gen security products UTM (Unified Threat Management), XG (firewalls) and Intercept X for Server (server protection).
