Mobile learning specialist MobieTrain beat hundreds of other start-ups in the prestigious Startup Battles. ‘We are thrilled to have won UNLEASH’s biggest ever competition,’ says Guy Van Neck, CEO of MobieTrain.
This is the first time that UNLEASH, the world largest gathering of HR leaders, has given the award to a Belgian start-up. ‘This will be an exciting year for MobieTrain,’ says Marc Coleman, CEO of UNLEASH in an article on the organisation’s website. ‘Previous winners of UNLEASH competitions have gone on to secure extra investment and land major new business. We look forward to seeing what MobieTrain can achieve and hope to be able to welcome them again to our event next year.”
The jury was impressed with the mobile learning platform developed by MobieTrain to help employees improve their knowledge based on five minutes of training a day. The solution is aimed at increasing productivity and sales in retail. Gamification and user-friendliness are central.
Sign of confidence
2018 was a stellar year for MobieTrain, which signed prestigious contracts with retailers such as BMW, Nestlé, Albert Heijn and Azadea Group. ‘This win is the cherry on the cake and spurs us on to keep going,’ says Guy Van Neck. ‘It’s a huge sign of confidence in our vision, our product and our team. We aim to become the global standard in mobile learning and this takes us another step closer to our goal.’
MobieTrain returns home with a Gold Sponsorship package that totals 25,000 euro. What’s more, in September, MobieTrain was one of the five finalists of the Startupbootcamp, also in Amsterdam.
